H3ATLES RANT!!

I have alot on my mind and i am about to explode, please enjoy my rant and feel free to input how you feel about certain subjects...

Star-divide

Maybe my fellow friends on the site here can help me figure some things and can agree with me on a few thing. There might be a few spelling and grammar mistakes, but i quite frankly don't give a damn because this is MY RANT!

 • When is Mario Chalmers going to be consistent? We seen him score 28 points in a game, and then there's a game where is has 5 turnovers in 5 minutes. We see flashes of greatness on defense, steals and shutting down his man. Then there's Rio who watches the ball instead of his man and commits the STUPIDEST FOULS at the WRONG TIME! Your a professional basketball player playing at the most important position on the court you have to get it together. I will give him props though just like Joel Anthony he's came a long way especially from last season.

 • Eddy Curry let's be real even if he does get in basketball shape, he won't make an impact. He day dreams on the court as if he's surprised he's still in the league. He can score but that is NOT what Miami Heat basketball is about, we pride ourselves on defense and he simply can't keep up. And please don't get me started on the boards; where he makes little to no effort to box out his man, the only time he gets a rebound is if the ball bounces his way! Cut him and bring in Przybilla.

 • Bosh gets little to no touches ever since Wade came back. He goes sometimes the WHOLE third quarter without a damn shot attempt, your a superstar DEMAND THE BALL!!! Then we decide to feed Bosh the ball in the fourth quarter after he hasn't touched the ball in almost forever and we expect him to knock down jumpers?? UNBELIEVABLE

 • 4th Quarter Isolations'. GOD PLEASE HELP ME REFRAIN FROM BREAKING MY COMPUTER WHILE TALKING ABOUT THIS SUBJECT. Why the hell... WHY IN THE HELL DO we continue to iso the whole fourth quarter even though we know it's not working? WHY? Why hasn't Spo addressed this? Is he scared of his own damn players??? If anybody gets in contact with any of the Big 3 or the coaching staff, tell them to cut that BS out and move the ball around like we do in the other 3 quarters.

 • James Jones. Rots on the bench as we watch Battier get a massive amount of minutes as if he was fresh out of college. Spo is a defensive guy i know, but the production on the bench is atrocious, put JJ in there and let him drain a couple threes damnit!

There's more i want to say but this will do for now. Until my next rant i am signing off, 1- The H3ATLES-6

Most of these things make me think about all the words that make me type, BLEEEEP!! on this site in a gamethread

The fourth quarter iso’s are maybe the worst thing although Curry and Bosh not get involved every night are right up there. The Heat should have just kept Big Cat instead of sign Curry as it is right now—well, at least they are looking at Joel P. or K-Mart (not a center really but I would rather have him out there at center than Curry).

I think it's Cole's time to be our starting PG

While he may not can drain the 3 like Chalmers can, he turns the ball over less, he’s got a better jumpshot, knows when to give it up, brings more energy, and makes the offense flow SOOO much better. He’s also a fantastic defender and isn’t scared to finish on a fast break or drive. Chalmers is becoming early 2011 Russell Westbrook.

If we can't laugh at ourselves, Packer fans will call us crybabies and we will be forced to kick their tooth in. I really don't want to go to jail (again).

I certainly understand the frustration

Especially after a loss like the one last night. But I think Rio has played better than I would have expected overall coming into the season. He plays well off Wade and LeBron (especially Bron), keeps pressure on the defense by picking his spots to be agressive, and he takes care of the ball in transition now.

The Eddy Curry story is a touchy-feely one, but I really don’t think he’s the solution at center. If we can get Joel Pryzbilla, go get him.

Wade and LeBron do have to become more mindful of setting Bosh up for shots early, but his problem is that he’s a post player without a post game. And now that Wade and Bron have set up shop down there, it has essentially pushed Bosh even farther off the block. He needs to make it up in his mind that, in order to get his touches, he has to get at least four offensive rebounds a game and then man-up and do it. He could be 20-10 consistently if he were to do so.

The 4th quarter issues make no sense. Everybody stands around and watches Wade and Bron. No wonder either has problems getting off late in games! The other guys have to continue their cuts and motion to keep the defense honest.

James Jones with the Heat has been a question mark in my brain for a long time—especially this season. How is it he can start when Wade is out but hardly get on the floor when Wade is in the line-up? And the guy can play team defense and rebound!

This is very true in my case too, but I’m still not satisfied with him and his turnovers and poor shot selection at times. And Cole is a better defender, he rarely get’s ran by, and fights through screens harder.

How is it he can start when Wade is out but hardly get on the floor when Wade is in the line-up?

This is funny, because it’s so obvious and you answered yourself : )

Here is a solution for the 4th

If every on is standing around watching Wade and Lebron, then put our 3 best shooters on the floor. Miller, JJ and Bosh, can all hit the jumper. That might even open up lanes for Wade and James to drive

Good thinking

but defenders will not leave sh.ooters who are standing still—at least not usually.

HEATLES RANT!

U brought up good points about our Miami Heat team. I’m concerned about the many flaws Miami has shown this early in the season. They MUST include Bosh in everyway, he’s been the most consistent player on the team and he is unselfish in how he plays. There is strength in numbers, so Miami Heat can start playing their bench more, start the game off with your dynamic trios,Chalmers and Haslem, play good defensive basketball, take D-wade and Lebron out to rest and for the last 3 minutes of the quarter, leave Bosh in and add Jones, Cole, Anthony, and Curry for rebounding, defending, penetrating and 3-point shooting. Consistently playing good defensive basketball; utilizing time management will win championships.

The 4th-Q Isolations are so annoying.

And why does Spo put Lebron at PG and take out Chalmers AND Cole in the final minutes? If we use a PG the first 42 mins, why put LeBron at PG the last 6?

By the way, great rant and REC, agree with almost everything except the first thing about Chalmers. He turns it over alot but he’s super consistent shooting, he’s over 50% on the season and 45% from 3-pt, which is awesome even considering he gets a lot of open shots.

Tajh Boyd and Dre' Ellington are the future.
