Leaving early during a HEAT loss: Yes, No, Rarely
This is a topic I brought up on the excellent Florida Panthers SB Nation site, Litter Box Cats, and wanted to get a basketball take on it. I don't expect this to happen the rest of this 2012 season for the Heat.
I have walked out on my favorite team before, the Florida/Miami Marlins, usually out of pure disgust for their play or when facing a beatdown by the opposing team. Some may deem me a bad fan, even though I sat through the longest game in Marlins history (6 hours, 10 minutes) that wound up being a loss, so one can't assume that because people leave means they are lousy fans. They may be the most die hard supporters ever, so much so that it pains them to watch a horrendous showing and they just gotta get away.
So what have you, Peninsula Is Mightier crowd? Have you ever walked out on the Heat or any other sports team? Love to hear the horror stories...

I went to 2 marlins games last year.
Both were decided by the fifth inning or so (think 0-12), so I took a couple of pics, then left. However I have been to a couple of heat games, and each and every one of them were exciting from beginning to end. And even if they sucked, I would stay to make the huge ticket price worth it.
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
