Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade has been playing great since returning from injury
It's been a rough season for the Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade. The first couple months saw him plagued by lower-body injuries, the worst of which coming in the form of a severely sprained ankle suffered during a road game in Denver. Even though Dwyane played in nine of the Heat's first twelve games this season, he only scored 20 or more points in 4 of those games. Wade just didn't look like himself, and it was pretty obvious that the injuries were holding him back.
Since coming back from his six game absence due to the ankle sprain, Wade has looked more and more like his usual self. Last night in Atlanta D-Wade played in his tenth straight game, and in those games he has shown that there is plenty of gas left in his tank. He has scored 20 or more points in nine of the ten games, and of those ten the Heat have won eight.
Wade is averaging 24.5 points, 4.5 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 1.7 steals in his last ten games, shooting 52.3% from the field and 87.5% from the free throw line.

It's great that Wade's scoring is going up again.
We need his scoring in the regular season as much as we need it in the playoffs. A healthy D-Wade equals more games where he can get fired up, have the hot hand and light up for 25+ and even 30+ on a great night. Which means more wins. And I’d like for us to have the best record in the league for once, which isn’t that hard to achieve right now. I think he did a great job on being patient with his injury and he came back fully recovered and ready to give 100% again. Although I would like to see him rebound more like last year. I hope he keeps up with his great play and bumps his assists and rebounds to at least 5 per again. As for defense, he’s been great as usual. Wade just needs to keep healthy and we can breeze through this season, dare I say it, without exceeding 10 loses. IMO that’s pretty reachable. And I’m hoping Wade can put up enough performances to catch up with LeBron in the MVP race too. LET’S GO WADE! Still the best of the best of the Miami Heat!
OH! Those are really cool! (OH! Those are really cool!)
I can't wait to see what kind of shoes Michael Beasley wears! (I can't wait to see what kind of shoes Michael Beasley wears!)
OH! I love Michael Beasley's hair! (I can't wait to see Michael Beasley play defense!)
Loved to see him and the Heat getting it going early last night...
he had eight quick points at the 6 min mark in the 1st and would have went for 40+ it looked had he been needed. Free throw % is awesome. Hope he gets off to a fast start tonight and then the Pacers game should be fun.

Why the Heat beat the Bucks....
The Heat finally did the right thing. Even though Bosh scored only 8 points the Heat still beat the Bucks by a wide margin. Below are the reasons why I think the Heat beat the Bucks this time, 1 out of 3.
1.The Heat defense rose up.They did not give up easy bucket under the basket nor did they give up cheap 3 points from beyond the arc.. Unlike the last 2 meetings, Jennings was well accounted for this time from behind the arc.
2.The ball rotation by the Heat was very good. Perhaps, that is why we did not see much points from Bosh.He is notorious for static offense which gives the Heat’s opponents ample time to set up their defense. He shared the ball quite readily and was not dogged about scoring. He gave up the ball easily and helped on the boards.Bosh was very mobile tonight.
3.Coach Spo called out timeouts early. He did not wait for Miami’s lead to be erased or halved by the Bucks before calling timeouts. He called timeouts early enough to break up the rhythm of the Bucks when it seems they were about to gain any moment. I have always criticized Coach Spo for waiting too long before calling out timeouts.Tonight against the Bucks he did quite well.
4. The points from the Bench came evenly across the board. Not just one or two persons on the bench scoring 7 or 8 points and more why the rest score 3 points or less each.
This has justified the point I made earlier on when Martin and PZ were offered contracts by the Heat. I had said that the Heat lost to the Bucks and to the Hawks not because the Heat did not have big men but because the Heat do not move the ball around on offense and also did not protect the paint and the perimeter well. Tonight, they did very well in those areas and the result speaks for itself.
The Heat needs to be consistent in these areas and of course improve their outside shooting against the zone offense.
Having big men will also be an additional help to the Heat but not a priority. The Heat can send a scout to East Europe to get an athletic 7 plus footer.
Yes, he is...

He has been great
and it looks like the team is settling into the roles and rotation it will take to “bring that ring” to South Beach.
