LeBron James named Eastern Conference Player of the Week
The NBA announced on Tuesday that the Miami Heat's LeBron James was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week. He won the award five times last season, though his first time didnt come until the 9th week of the season. During the 5 game span in week 1, LeBron averaged 29.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.2 blocks, leading the Heat to a perfect 5-0 record. This is a great start to the season for James, as he seems to be flourishing in Miami's high-powered offense. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come...

Wooo!!! Keep posting up, keep getting to the rim/line and you will be here often LBJ and do it in the playoffs always!
Reporter: What would you say a Greg Studrawa offense is like? Stud:
"Attack and be very physical…fly around…attacking, come after you and come after you and come after you…." Me: I love this answer.
GET TO THE RIM HEAT (and SKY)! ATTACK THE PAINT!
I've been as tough on LeBron as anybody
but I am predicting a very special season from him. When it’s all said and done, I look for him to average nearly 8 assists and 8 rebounds for the season, keep his turnovers down, and shoot well over 50% from the field. He will totally deserve MVP this season, but he will not win it—due to the emergence of media darling Kevin Durant.
