See that Heat fans? Thats the Celtics home court advantage getting flushed down the toilet... HEAT #1 TEAM IN THE EAST!!!

God that feels good let me say that again: MIAMI HEAT IS NOW THE #1 TEAM IN THE EAST!!! (39-14 record)

The Heats record in the last 10 games: 9 wins 1 loss

The Celts record in the last 10 games: 5 wins 5 losses

Eddie House starting to round into form: last five games averaging 10 points on over 50 percent shooting from both the 2 and the 3

Mike Miller starting to come on strong: last five games averaging 10 points on over 50 percent shooting from both the 2 and the 3

Joel Anthony really accepting his role as defensive energy off the bench PF to fill in for Haslem

LeBron James is a complete lunatic: Averaging 30/8/7 for the entire month of Jan

Dwayne Wade is always the rock we've come to expect: 28/7/4 for the entire month of Jan

Everyone here at Peninsula knew from the start of the season what the fans of the other teams were hoping wouldn't come true: Miami is the best team in the East... and theres not a daaaaaaaamn thing the Celtics (or anyone else) can do about it

=)

Hmm

To be the best you have to beat the best.
Right now the C’s are the best in the east.
Once we beat them, then I will say the heat are #1 in the east.
And we have to beat the celtics twice!
Let’s go heat!

Miami Thrice is incredible....Heat Tri-nasty is inevitable!

Relax man...

We still have not beat them. They are the best team until we prove we can. And remember back to last year, they were the 4th seed. They are a team of vets who do not need the home court advantage (although it helps)

Yeah relax

We havent even got to the Allstar break yet.

Rick Ross is an intriguing NFL prospect because of his combination of speed and size. He projects as a Nose Tackle in the 3-4. His upside is the reason the Panthers will select Ross #1 overall in the 2011 NFL Draft.

Funny stuff

Weren’t the heatles in 1st in the L’east for a day or two earlier in the season?

The celtics are banged up. Their record in close games, OT games, vs current .500+ teams, and at home are all better than the heatles’.

The heatles’ strength of schedule is 29th out of 30, Celtics’ 25th.

Stretch “last 10” into “last 20”, and the records are heatles 15-5 (6 current winning teams), C’s 13-7 (10 winning teams).

Laughable poll, with no choice for the Celtics eliminating the heatles in the playoffs…

Well

The Celtics will be beat up throughout the year. It’s a fact. Their age won’t allow them to be 100% healthy throughout the year. Won’t happen. Pure talent for the Heat can beat Boston. But it’s not even the all star break. With that I say PLAYOFFZ?!

Celtics 3 - 0 Heat

Heat the number 1 team in the East? Highly doubt it.

Tho I really feel sorry for you guys

I know how it is when you have high expectations. I mean, who would’ve thought that your dream of the Heat having 82-0 season would turn out to be freakishly wrong.

Irresponsible I stand...

rec'd Heat fan

"Wally: [going home in a taxicab] I treated myself to a taxi. I rode home through the city streets. There wasn't a street, there wasn't a building, that wasn't connected to some memory in my mind. There, I was buying a suit with my father. There, I was having an ice cream soda after school. And when I finally came in, Debbie was home from work, and I told her everything about my dinner with Andre."

23 days later...

The celtics have lost 15, the heat have lost 20. They also have lost 4 strait, are o-3 against boston, and 0-3 against chicago, which by the way has only lost 18 too.
