Game #2: Boston Celtics (0-1) vs. Miami Heat (1-0)

PrintA night that Miami Heat fans have been looking forward to for quite some time is finally here. The lockout kept us waiting a while, but South Florida will transform into a basketball town once again as the Heat will play their home opener tonight against the Boston Celtics at the AAA. Like the Heat, Boston also began its season on Christmas Day, but unlike the Heat, Boston couldn't get the win. The C's lost in New York to Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks, and now will come to Miami hoping to avoid an 0-2 start to the season.
GAME NOTES
- LeBron James averaged 28.8 points against the Celtics last year.
- This is the first of four games against Boston this season, but they won't play each other again until April.
- The Heat is 13-10 all-time in home openers, winning their last 3.
- The Celtics have won 8 of the last 9 regular season meetings against Miami.
- The Heat eliminated Boston from the playoffs last season, beating them 4-1 in the Eastern Conference Semi-finals.
- Mike Miller (hernia) and Eddy Curry (hip) are out for the Heat.
- For Boston, Paul Pierce (heel) is questionable. He missed their season opener against the Knicks on Sunday.
Tipoff from the AAA is set for 8pm. The game will be broadcast nationally on TNT.

I don't think the Celtics can't run with us
They’re just too old, and we’ll out-hustle them. My only concern is us gaurding the kick-out three, but I think we’ll have a very comfortable win.
If we can't laugh at ourselves, Packer fans will call us crybabies and we will be forced to kick their tooth in. I really don't want to go to jail (again).

Bosh needs to step up. There are many ways he can help the team. He can assist Udonis Haslem on the boards…
Bosh needs to spend more practice time making sure his shots count…going 2 for 9 in 20 plus minutes, is not exactly what one expects from a starter. He is used to having plays set up for him. He should realise that by now that is not going to happen often with the Heat. I noticed that when the ball gets to Bosh’s hands it slows the Heat’s offense. He has to be a better catch and shoot player or quick passer with the ball.Not stalling the Heat’s offense.
He came to the Heat to win a championship not to be a star player.Last year he was concerned about how many shots or plays were designed for him. He has to find ways to make the Heat feel his presence on the court and have his team mates trust him with the ball.He should not be too much concerned about the offense going through him as it was in his former life.Times have changed and he needs to adopt to the changing times if he wants to win a championship with the Heat.

I usually don't put much stock in quotes and am not doing it so much here, but ever since the Heat picked him and I read about and saw film, I just have liked Cole a ton and hope he continues to do so well
