Owner of the Miami Heat, Micky Arison, fined by the NBA
In reply to a tweet on the popular social networking platform, Twitter, Micky Arison was fined by the league in regards to comments about the current labor situation. Although the league's official website, NBA.com, does not specify how much the fine was for, popular media outlets such as ESPN and Yahoo claim that the fine totals to about $500, 000.

Considering that both sides want to appear united, and we know neither side truly is,
I’m not surprised that this happened. Arison got smacked down hard not only because he talked about the lockout in general but because he was seen as throwing other owners under the bus, like how Derek Fisher publicly creamed JaVale McGee for saying that some players wanted to fold.
I find it really coincidental and strange that among the three team owners who have been fined for speaking their mind on the labor talks (Ted Leonsis, Michael Jordan, and Micky Arison), all three own teams in the same division as the Wizards, Cats, and Heat are all in the SE.
