Details released for all-star game at FIU hosted by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh

Information about tickets has finally been released by Florida International University for the all-star exhibition game hosted by Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh.  The game will be played in the 5,000-seat U.S. Century Bank Arena with tipoff set for 7pm on Saturday October 8th.  I imagine that the will have no problem selling out this game considering some of the players who will be participating.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday at noon at the University Credit Union Box Office.  It's located on the first floor of the R. Kirk Landon Fieldhouse at Alfonso Field at FIU Stadium (you got all that...?).  You can't order tickets over the phone so if you want to go to the game, you have to head over to FIU and buy them in person.

Star-divide

There are two price categories for tickets.  Upper-bowl general admission will run you $50 and lower-bowl reserved seats will go for $100.  There will be a limit of two tickets per order until 3pm on Monday.  If there are still tickets left after 3, the limit will go up to 4 per order.

The list of players confirmed to be in attendance is pretty ridiculous.  From the Heat it's the Big 3 and Mario Chalmers, and they will be joined by Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, Rajon Rondo, Russell Westbrook, Rudy Gay, Jamal Crawford, John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, Jonny Flynn, Lou Williams, Wesley Matthews, Caron Butler, Dorell Wright and Eddy Curry.  That's one hell of a guest list.

An earlier report that said the teams would be broken up into a Nike team and a Jordan Brand team, Dwyane Wade confirmed on Friday on his twitter account that would not be the case.  However, the part that has some truth to it is that Wade and LeBron will play on opposite teams.

Proceeds from this game will go to ‘Mary's Court Foundation', which was established to honor the late mother of Isiah Thomas.

Just 5000 Seat

Fans are pretty hungry to see a basketball game. I personally think 5000 seats will not be enough. Happy to see this organization.. My school, My team :)
