PrintHear me out... the Heat have a huge hole at the center position and the whole reason Shaq quit on the Heat before was because they weren't competing for a championship. Shaq just played with LeBron last year and still likes D. Wade so it's easy to convince him to come here for less. Also Shaq is really motivated by wanting to get another ring to tie Kobe Bryant...
This seems like the absolute PERFECT match made in heaven.

hmmm Shaq would be great for 25 minutes a night
with a good backup of course. I think the Heat if interested which they should be are now front runners for Shaq’s services.

Sure he is a big body but I think he might just clog the paint and not give the others space to operate
Lebron did get MVP with Shaq as his starting center. If Lebron can play with him I think Wade can too. We need a Dwight and Bynum stopper. Shaq is perfect for that.

It's a great thought and all...
… But Shaq is not what this young corps needs. They need a strong determined player that will play for more then just a couple of minutes. If Shaq was brought back I wouldn’t start him. I’d rather see him come off the bench from time to time. I’d rather see Zoe come out of retirement. We need a guy with the same intensity and energy these three are bringing to the HEAT!
Shaq at times seemed like the only Cav still playing against the Celtics, I think he wants a ring that badly. I know some people argue that we need a faster C for a fast paced offense. But I don’t know of any available Centers in our price range that can both excel in an uptempo game AND be effective against Howard and Bynum. The way I see it is stopping them is the most important thing we need out of the Center position.
