Kevin Garnett speaks: Sound from Celtics practice

After sparking the altercation that took place in front of the Heat bench with just 40 seconds left in Game 1, Kevin Garnett briefly spoke to the Media when the Celtics practiced on Sunday.  Before I get to the sound, it seems that Garnett's elbow throwing has gotten a bit of attention from around the league.  Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah called K-G a ‘dirty player', amongst other things, during Bulls practice at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.  Said Noah:

"He's a dirty player.  He's always swinging elbows, man.  I'm hurting right now because of an elbow he threw.  It's unbelievable.  He's a dirty player.  It's one thing to be competitive and compete and all that.  But don't be a dirty player, man.  He's a dirty player."

Personally, I think that he should be worrying about his own Playoff series instead of commenting on ours.  Still, it's interesting that Garnett's actions on Saturday led to another player speaking out about the same kind of problems.  Now we have to wait and see what the NBA will have to say about Garnett.  A league spokesman said on Sunday that they are "reviewing the altercation", but didn't give a timetable for if/when they will render a decision on a possible suspension.

Star-divide

There is also talk that Jamaal Magloire may be suspended for leaving the bench, but considering the skirmish took place right in font of the Heat bench it will be interesting to see how the NBA handles it.  Magloire was holding Garnett's right arm when his left elbow swung around and hit Q-Rich in the face.

If you haven't already seen the video where Quentin Richardson speaks about Garnett and Pierce, I highly suggest you watch it here before listening to Kevin Garnett's response in the audio clips below.  The first two clips are the most Q-Rich relevant.

Kevin Garnett- Classless on Richardson's part

Kevin Garnett- Wanted to give his fallen teammate some room

Kevin Garnett- You have to control yourself

Kevin Garnett- We have to play with emotion
