Over/Under--15 wins?

I just looked at our final 20 games to close the season schedule. We've built a little momentum and could be poised to play our best ball to close this thing out (which is ultimately what you want at Playoff time, no matter the seed). Of course you can't predict this sort of thing (What would be the fun in that anyway?), but I don't think it's unreasonable to think we can win 15 out of those 20. What do you guys think?

15 wins would be SICK

I think 13-7 is a little more realistic, but with this team I have zero confidence in making any kind of prediction.

But yeah, looking at our schedule…if they play well, 15 wins is a possibility.

I'm hopeful we will stop being so erratic...

The thing is none of these game are un-winnable. Most of them are against teams that have issues of their own. Only nine of the 20 are on the road. The toughest teams on the schedule are the Spurs (who are having a mediocre season at best but probably still have a hell of a run left in them) and Orlando (who we can beat when we play like we’re capable of). We have the right type of schedule going down the stretch to make a run of our own. I like our chances to catch and pass the Bucks and the Bulls.

I’m just eager to see what kind of focus we have next time out. We don’t have the best home record, but I’m hoping some homecooking and some practice time will change that down the stretch. Our road record is a little troubling, but we have lost a few of those on fourth quarter comebacks and buzzer beaters, so if everything falls right, I predict we will PUSH and get the 15 wins. They’re all winnable, but I’ll give us a few games (five or less) to be less than our best.

We’re going to be a tough out for Orlando, Boston, or Atlanta in the First Round.

We need our remaining games for tune-up

Our remaining schedule is NICE. One of the nicest in the League in fact. We only play 3 more teams with even a hope of making the Playoffs (Bucks—who are for real, Bobcats, and Raptors). Not that the other teams waiting to see how the Lottery shakes out are just going to mail it in, but they’re just not Playoff-caliber teams right now. We are. I’d love to see us sweep the remaining schedule, which I don’t think is an insanely ridiculous notion, but more than that, I want us to get to a point of playing our best basketball. That’s what’s most important heading into the Playoffs. If we’re thinking 1st Round upset, we have to be firing on all cylinders headed down the stretch. Next up? The team we desperately need to catch (AND pass due to losing the tiebreaker with them)—the Bobcats.
