Apparently Michael Beasley is washed up after 3 games... Just cut the kid already.
It never stops, does it? The length that analyst or reporters will go to get a headline. What gets me is the so-called fans that fall for it every time. It amazes me how one guy can get a pass after having a bad game and another guy gets treated as if he hasn't done anything to help the team they both occupy. The current target is Michael Beasley. Apparently he's being expected to carry a team to wins that ELITE player Dwyane Wade struggled with.
Did the Heatnot lose, in blowout fashion, to the Dallas Maverick??? That was with Wade people... the score was 106-93. Wade was 8-24 from the field(33.3%) shooting. Did he get tossed under the bus for struggling against a team with not one player capable of staying in front of him??? Of course not... he's GOD around these parts and can do no wrong. Yet Beasley has a 3-11 showing on a night the Mavs get 33 free throw attempts and the Heat get 10(5 by Beasley in the first quarter) and all of a sudden a 97-91 loss is his fault, against a much improved Mavs club that up-graded. I can't be the only person in HEATville that see a problem with such bias logic.
Need I bring up the Bucks? Wade was 7-19(36.8%) and 6-20(30.0%) in back to back games against this club. How is his sub-par performances any different than Beasley's 5-14(35.7%)??? Seems to me a double standard is going around here.
The kid is just 21 years of age... get off his back. Here's something I bet you didn't know. The GREAT Kevin Durant in his 57 games has had 21 games where he has shot 43% or lower from the field... Beasley has done the same in 23 games. Durant in 9 more minutes only averages 1 more rebound and 1 more assist than Beasley. They both block about the same amount of shots and get the same amount of steals. Only thing that separates the two is the fact that Durant gets about 7 more shots per game and gets the calls from the refs. You get Beasley on a team where he is the primary option and give him a attacking point man like Westbrook that keeps defenses on edge and you get to see the real Michael Beasley.
And for all those who think that Beasley's past 3 games is more truth of his ability than just a shooting slump... have a look at the 30+ games he's done well from the floor.

That's 32 games out of 57... That's more good than bad!!! So can you folks please lay off the kid if you aren't going to be honest about the situation. Or would you rather I show you how poorly Wade has done this season. Anyway, Beasley has done more good than bad this season, often against PLAYOFF teams, unlike his SUPERSTAR teammate.
