Game #48: Milwaukee Bucks (20-25) vs. Miami Heat (24-23)

Revenge could be a factor tonight with the Heat's ‘tired' loss in Milwaukee still fresh in our memories, and I'm sure the team thoroughly enjoyed their day off at home and are ready to roll tonight at the AAA.   It will still be tough as several players are still nursing injuries, including D-Wade.  He tweaked his back Friday in Detroit but still managed to play 31 painful minutes in Milwaukee and should be out there tonight.  Said Wade after the loss:

"It was tight, but no doubt, I was able to play.  The only thing I can do now is, hopefully, get some rest.  Hopefully, Monday, I'll be back.  I'll be able to have my explosiveness back going to the basket."

Containing Andrew Bogut will be key.  The young center has been putting up stellar numbers for a while now and has put thoughts of his recent injuries to rest.  Between Jermaine O'Neal and Joel Anthony, our centers should do what they can to keep the ball away from the Bucks' big guy.

Getting back Michael Beasley would be nice, for several reasons.  Obviously offensively the Heat could use a boot, and Beasley had been averaging 18.1 points in the 11 games leading up to his injury.  After the way Hakim Warrick went off, I'd like to see the more athletic Beasley giving his counterpart(s) trouble on both ends of the floor.  Tired legs have a harder time hitting those jumpers...

GAME NOTES

  • The Bucks are now 13-4 in games that Andrew Bogut scores 17 or more points.
  • Dorell Wright has hit at least one 3-points in a career-high seven straight games.
  • For the Heat, Super Cool is listed as questionable and Mario Chalmers is out once again with his thumb injury.  Rio has a partially torn ligament and will be out indefinitely.
  • Milwaukee has lost four straight and 7 of 8 on the road.  They have also lost 8 of their last 10 at Miami, but the two wins have come in each of the last two seasons.

A win tonight will be nice for the Heat.  They just returned from a 1-2 road trip that took them through ‘decent' Toronto and ‘mediocre' Detroit and Milwaukee.  After tonight Miami goes on another 3-game trip, and this time the opponents are going to be much tougher.  Wednesday and Thursday it's back-to-back at Boston and Cleveland, then Saturday its back to the home of Wade, Chicago.  So yeah...lets get a win tonight, ok?
