1/10 of the season down...
So not that I doubt we are going to be a great team, but I do have some questions. First off it is now 1/10 of the way through the season and we are 5-3. This means very little because we will progress as the season goes on, but if we do put it into numbers then this is what it says. By this average we will finish 52-30, I threw the last couple games into the win column for easier math. Anyway as I stated earlier I am not so sure this is how things will turn out by seasons end, but my question is what would we all say if it does?
My next thought is actually not mine, but I read it in a preseason article. Erik Spoelstra - is he our guy? I am not saying you can't put superstars together on a team because these guys have already proven that in the olympics. My question is whether Spoels has what it takes to make this thing work or is he just saying alright the offense wil take care of itself... That last quote was actually said that the offense will work itself out, so again I question whether Spoels has what it takes to make this thing work.
As I stated in the first paragraph I am not overly concerned at this point bc it is still early, but I am afraid I may be revisiting this again very shortly, say if we are 15-9.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised with around 18-20 losses
There are still a few ?‘s, but regular season doesn’t mean that much as long as you make the playoffs. I mean its nice to play the lower seeds first, but eventually you’re gonna play the better teams either way.
the more time this team plays together,
the higher the average wins will be…
i still think we win 60+ games this year, easy
Miami's Superstarts: Brandon Marshall, Karlos Dansby, Vontae Davis (just wait), Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Hanley Ramirez :)
Easy?
Will there be enough sub-.500 teams on the schedule for that to happen?

Hopeful
I hope they win 60+ as well, but my post is simply to put the though out there of when will people be concerned. And I agree with Kozam’s comment that the regular season doesn’t mean much, but what about momentum. So is a team the same that finishes the REGULAR season with a 20-0 run or so versus a team that finished 13-7? I don’t think they are the same and the reason I throw these numbers out there is because I hope we are making a final run into the end of the season with numbers like 20-0 and not 13-7. If we are finishing 13-7 then we are in the same place we are right now at the beginning of the season…??
THE ONLY THING THAT NOT MAKING SENSE TO ME IS
Why PITTMAN is not playing we get no and I mean NO PRODUCTION from our starting center so I don’t care that he is young I’ll rather have him out there over the other dude Atleast Pittman will get better on both ends of the court. And could some one tell me why we cut Beverly again because our pgs we have can’t do nothing to on either end wat a waste
They(the big 3) should have taken 3 million less than they make now.
Bottom line is they are gonna make way more money with endorsements and stuff.
Wade is under Jordan brand and T mobile has him under contract.
Thats millions extra.
Lebron has Nike.
Millions!
Had they done that maybe they would have a big body center to clog the paint for them.
Maybe the record would be 7-2 instead of 5-4.
Magloire,Joel Anthony should not have been resigned.
Pittman should be getting minutes to go along with a Camby. Surely if the big 3 all took a little less Camby would sign have signed with us. They should have signed Dampier too.
So at center the heat should have had Camby,Dampier,Pittman and Z.
Not Magloire who is a bench warmer, not Joel Anthony who got extended and can’t average 5ppg with 8 rebounds.
He can’t even average 25 minutes a game!
They must speed the freaking tempo up, move the ball from side to side, have both Wade and James penetrate the lane and if guys are foolish enough to double then someone is wide open.
It’s not rocket science.
I should be seeing alley oops vs any team not just the nets and wolves.
That’s not impressive.
But yea had the big 3 signed for 11 mil they would have no problem at center right now and the record would have been better.
A few more games and Riles may take over…
Miami Thrice is incredible....Heat Tri-nasty is inevitable!
I believe Camby signed an extension during last season
and it is easy for you to say that they should have taken 3 mil less. Lets just be thankful they signed for what they did because then Haslem would be on the Mavs (or Nuggets) and Miller would also be somewere else. 11 million is a lot less than the 16.5 that they each deserve
In Pat we Trust
"Sorry if everyone thought we were going to go 82-0" - Dwyane Wade
"A nickel ain't worth a dime anymore." - Yogi Berra
Correct about Camby signing extension during season
You make a good point about Haslem and Miller potentially being elsewhere, but I’m not gonna go along with Bosh being worth $16.5 million….
