Game #44: Cleveland Cavaliers (34-11) vs. Miami Heat (23-20)
Plug in the hype machine; King James is coming for a visit. For sanity sake, I'm going to ignore that for the time being. We'll have plenty to talk about on that subject when the time comes. As for the game, things are looking in Miami's favor. Overall the Heat seem to play well against good teams, and they played a very close match with the Cavs back at the beginning of November.
Cleveland comes in a bit hobbled, with guards Mo Williams and Delonte West both out for an extended period of time. Daniel Gibson will likely start his 2nd game for Williams, but other then Gibson being a hot shooter, this is a significant downgrade on both ends of the floor. Don't get me wrong, Cleveland has won 4 straight including a game against Kobe and the Lakers.
Said Wade:
"It's a very important game for us because it's our next game and it's a home game and they came in the first time and took one on our home floor. We need to really come out and play well and give ourselves a chance. For us, every game is a must-win."
GAME NOTES
- Former Heat player Jamario Moon could play for the Cavs after missing the last 9 games with an abdominal strain.
- Miami has shot over 55% in each of their last two games.
- After this game, the Heat will play 11 of their next 13 on the road.
- This will be the 21st meeting between Wade and LeBron. So far, James has the advantage 11-9.
Should be a good one with tipoff coming at 7:30 from the AAA.
UPDATE: Jamario Moon will not play tonight. You can also add Leon Powe to the 'out' list. Thats Moon, Powe, Mo Williams and Delonte West all OUT tonight in Miami, for those keeping score.

Heat in a laugher
I got a good feeling about this game… no Mo Williams to play “Heat Killer”… don’t like the way Shaq is protecting the paint as of late, everything and everyone is hitting the court(and not in a good way).
Beasley and Wright will come up big… mark my words… Wade stat line, 32 points 9 assist, 7 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 blocks!!!
Heat win 104 to 89!!!
