Heat out to prove everyone wrong

Who feels that the heat will be special this year.

I get the feeling that wade talks about, when i see the heat. they are the underdogs but they are defying everyone's expectations of them. ESPN is the most inaccurate sport's website ever. All those predictions they had about this season is flying out the window. Not only the miami heat are doing good, so are the phoenix suns who were supposed to be a forgone conclusion this season. they are emerging with a force. Melo is leading the nuggets to the elite four of the nba heirarchy. Spurs are looking mediocre and old. I know that they will probably make the playoffs with a 3 or 4 seed like they always boringly do, but they aren't the championship team that everyone makes them out to be. Come on 4 ESPN panelist picked them to get to the finals and 2 picked them to win it. I'm sorry but they don't have what it takes to live up to that claim.

Ok, back to the heat. Where is James Jones and Daquen Cook, we need some three point shooting. I don't want Beasley to be our 2nd option for a kickout pass for a three. Wade need those shooter to get back. I'm also impressed with how calm wade looks. He is only averaging 28 ppg but i feel like it's the calm before a storm. He is just waiting til allstar break and then he will show why he is mvp worthy, almost like last season. Or maybe he doesn't have to and just lead the team without his insane scoring but with leadership like kobe has been doing these last few seasons. Whatever happens this year i'm excited. I want atleast a 4th seed for our heat.

Welcome to the site, Jheezy!

About ESPN….they have no idea about the improvements our young guys have made or the work that guys like Jermaine O’Neal and Quentin Richardson have put in all summer. All they looked at is our record and stats from last year, and only see things like the problems that Beasley had over the summer. It’s much easier to write us off as finishing 4th in our own division (like Sports Illustrated).
Nice post! Looking forward to reading your stuff in the future :-)
