What's the occasion? Ball Don't Lie has deemed this humble (or not  very humble, apparently) blog the premier Miami Heat blog on this or any other Internet.

1. Peninsula is Mightier - I still can't tell if I hate or love to hate the name, but this site offers the sort of analysis and robust linkage that you need from a go-to team blog. Name aside, the minds behind this site do great work.

And here's the thing: it's just the one mind. Mine! And I didn't even use it until I turned about 22. It really caught on quickly.

My classless celebration aside, this is truly an honor, especially to be ranked a spot above the Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman, whose work I have long respected. Thanks, BDL, for the recognition. It means a lot.

Now I guess I should post something insightful today instead of that candy-ass notes package that was at the top of the page when BDL bestowed the title on me. I've got a rep to uphold now, I guess.
