I guess this was unavoidable with Steph chilling on the Knicks' inactive list. I don't care how many games like Saturday's we have, signing Marbury won't help.

Marbury wouldn't be the worst thing

Provided that the Heat could also trade away one of their PG’s (hopefully either Banks or Quinn) and Marion. Marbury, Wade, Beasley, Haslem and a solid big man would give this team a solid chance to make the playoffs.

I'm no commie, but the Reds shall be the best again!

No way

Marbury is a cancer. He has helped all the teams he has been on by being traded away. He is a selfish player who thinks he is the best player on any team (KG, etc) and probably wouldn’t defer to Wade.
Also he would be a really bad influence on Beasley, whose development as a more complete NBA player is really the goal of this season (that and getting a big man).
We need to be thinking long term instead of short term with this team.
Also, I think the PG position will improve (Chalmers development) as the season goes on. The lack of a 5 is the big problem.

Terrible idea. I’d rather he stay with the Knicks, so I can continue to hate him.

I’d be willing to sign Stephon. Only to a one year contract. He could be the difference between the playoffs and the lottery. If it doesn’t work there would be no long term damage.
