Two-Year Deal for Livingston
Ira Winderman and the Sun-Sentinel continue to own the Shaun Livingston story, reporting that the deal is for two years with an option on the second. I'm assuming it's a player option, but it's not clear yet.

Congrats
I still think he’s going to be good… maybe great. His defense will surprise you if he can return to what he was. He’s long and he’s quick. The Magic Johnson comparisons were never apt, as he has Magic’s height, but not his size. If I were setting a target and picking a player from the NBA’s Top 50, it might actually be Scottie Pippen. He has the potential to be a game-changer on defense.

I hope he’s somewhere close to what he used to be. I’m trying not to get my hopes up, but I really want to see him and Wade together.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for the Heat on this one…I’m anxious to see if Livingston can return to form.
…so how good are the Heat in two years or so if they keep Wade and this actually works?

My expectations are fairly low but hopefully this works out. It’d be great to see Livingston back on the court, and then finally fulfill some of that potential. He’s got a long way to go on both counts.
